Our IT Department in our headquarters in Athens is looking for a highly motivated
IT Service Operations Specialist (f/m) (100 %)
As the result of the D4 IT implementation, it is decided that a permanent employee must be on site due to the complexity of the applications in place.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and implement IT Strategy in line with HQ guidelines
- Support, maintain and improve existing IT infrastructure landscape recommending and implementing improvements and efficiencies
- Suggest innovate processes by developing new tools in line with HQ requirements
- Manage and support IT infrastructure
- Responsible for hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair
- Management of server software
- Evaluate, test, advise, train and support IT related projects
- Document and develop in depth knowledge of company’s existing IT infrastructure and technology portfolio
- Act as liaison between local suppliers, Global Partners IT, and all internal related departments
- Implement Information Security Policy and Operation in order to secure information security
Your ideal profile:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of experience working in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP and SoftOne
- Warehouse management systems
- Language Skills: fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong capacity for teamwork
