Our IT Department in our headquarters in Athens is looking for a highly motivated

            IT Service Operations Specialist (f/m) (100 %)

As the result of the D4 IT implementation, it is decided that a permanent employee must be on site due to the complexity of the applications in place.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement IT Strategy in line with HQ guidelines 
  • Support, maintain and improve existing IT infrastructure landscape recommending and implementing improvements and efficiencies
  • Suggest innovate processes by developing new tools in line with HQ requirements 
  • Manage and support IT infrastructure 
  • Responsible for hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair 
  • Management of server software 
  • Evaluate, test, advise, train and support IT related projects 
  • Document and develop in depth knowledge of company’s existing IT infrastructure and technology portfolio 
  • Act as liaison between local suppliers, Global Partners IT, and all internal related departments 
  • Implement Information Security Policy and Operation in order to secure information security 

Your ideal profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP and SoftOne
  • Warehouse management systems
  • Language Skills: fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong capacity for teamwork
