Our Design Leisurewear Department at the Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong in is looking immediately for a highly motivated

 

 

                                                          Creative Design Manager 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Creative and technical design:

  • Leading the creative direction for the team based in Hong Kong serving Bodywear Key Account in Europe
  • Responsible for all design functions ranging from trend analysis, design of marketable collections to completion of specification for fitting and production
  • Well understand the current market, latest fashion trends, especially for premium fashion, sportswear and Bodywear; conducting market visits.
  • Research of seasonal themes, fabrications and material and colors etc.
  • Translate design directions and concepts to technical drawings and size fitting as well as communication with technician and merchandiser throughout the whole development procedure
  • Conduct seasonal design presentations
  • Guiding and supervising the creative and technical design team
  • Meeting with Key Account to discuss requirements, changes, process issues
  • Prioritizing schedule of work for direct reports according to account/client requirements
  • Adhering to Triumph quality and compliance standards at all times and at all levels
  • Nurturing the exchange of ideas, new technologies, innovative materials etc.

Full responsibility for growing sales and profit based on:

  • Developing products and concepts to support our growth
  • Delivering the Corsina long-term strategy
  • Implementing reliable processes to ensure OTIF delivery
  • Acting as an ambassador among our existing network of partners in order to nurture long-term relationships and identify common needs in terms of solutions and services
  • Establishing and tracking metrics to assess and monitor performance
  • Increasing and maintaining Corsina’s visibility and reliability as a trusted partner

 

Leadership of the Design team:

  • Building, developing and managing the Design team. Planning the hiring of the team, optimizing team structure and ensuring high retention. Implementing and monitoring performance metrics to increase the overall productivity of the team.
  • Hiring and retaining team members who are agile, innovative, continually seeking to improve performance, reach for new challenges and driven to exceed expectations.
  • Building a best-in-class center of excellence; constantly fostering a collaborative and constructive working relationship across all functions horizontally and vertically, and promoting shared values of Trust, Openness and Consistency in daily work with inspiring leadership that strengthens team spirit and promotes entrepreneurial mindsets. 

Your ideal profile:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the design of Bodywear for women & men (Intimate Apparel, Homewear, Sleepwear, Swimwear)
  • Minimum of 5 years team management experience in the Design field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Solid track record in customer management
  • Proven expertise in managing and influencing internal and external partners
  • Proven organizational capability in a complex and international business environment
