Our Technical Service and Quality Assurance Department at the Tokyo, Japan office is looking immediately for a highly motivated



                                     Product and Integrity, Quality Assurance Manager

                                           (Textile and Apparel Product Development)


The Product and Integrity, Quality Assurance Manager will lead to maintain and uphold the Quality Standards, Performance Requirements and Quality Processes as described in Triumph’s Global Quality Manuals.


She/he brings outstanding satisfaction according to the Triumph quality guidelines, behaviors in product and integrity, as well as an advanced degree of AQL analytical skills in order to drive efficiency.



Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Quality Specialists for Raw Materials as well as Finished Goods
  • Drive benchmarking with other Brands on Quality, Materials, workmanship and pricing to provide frequent updates for all business partners
  • Conduct AQL inspections in the DC if necessary and conduct an assessment of Novelty / key Products out of sample and/or first bulk output to confirm the Product is in line with all Triumph standards
  • Ensure AQL compliance with Triumph’s Quality Manual requirements by utilizing Stage Samples and all relevant technical documents, measurement charts, packing instructions and product information for each style during the inspection
  • Develop and implement consumer-focused Quality Assurance programs and techniques in support for Fashion Advisors to raise brand knowledge and cultivate royal customers
  • Work on customer relationship, drive consumer engagement in actual stores; shop and warehouse visits
  • Review, analyze and summarize Consumer returns and function to all business partners  as the voice of Consumer
  • Summarize and categorize all Consumer returns, propose recommendations to fix/repair as well as suggest possible long term solutions


Your ideal profile:

  • 5 years’ work experience in a Quality Assurance; product development and sourcing organization in the textile and apparel industries
  • Know-how of International QA systems from raw materials to finished products
  • Technical skills: Understanding sewing, Pre- Production and the materials (Lingerie is an advantage)
  • Management skills such as target setting, planning, monitoring, thinking in processes
  • Extensive consumer and competitor understanding
  • Language Skills: Writing and speaking in English and Japanese
