Our IT department, based in Munich (Germany), is looking immediately for a motivated
Solution Manager Supply Chain -SAP EWM/WM (m/f/d) (100%)
This role is a fantastic opportunity to join an international team made by passionate people that always strives for excellence! You will have the opportunity to take the ownership of your activities, being the main point of contact for the external stakeholders and the internal Management team!
The role is in a hybrid capacity. It is foreseen that you would work 1 day per week in our Munich office, and the other days would be home working.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and refine demand requirements provided by Business Relationship Manager and business units for delivering the necessary IT solutions to business
- Develop rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine technical feasibility of solution
- Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with relevant stakeholders
- Develop detailed and comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources
- Develop project estimates (costs, timeline) for the development of the technical solution as an input for the overarching business case
- Ensure that the relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services
- Perform unit and integration tests and coordinate user acceptance tests with Business Relationship Manager and business units
- Lead initiatives such as projects or sub-projects
- Act as application owner in SAP EWM / SAP WM / LBN
Your ideal profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, IT or equivalent
- Several years of consulting experience in the IT environment (exposure to the fashion industry would be beneficial)
- 4+ years of experience in designing and building solutions and applications in the following area: SAP EWM / WM / LBN
- 4+ years of experience in analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies
- 4+ years of experience in functional and technical solution development and documentation
- Knowledge of the relevant process landscape: Warehouse management (Inbound/Outbound) Material Flow Systems and Value-added Service
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English as our corporate language (further languages desirable)
- Ability to effectively present to superiors and peers
- Highly motivated, positive “can-do” attitude, self-directed and assertive and service oriented
