Our  Marketing Department for AMOSTYLE brand in Tokyo, Japan, is looking for an independent and creative Visual Merchandiser to join our Tokyo team as the following:

 

                                           VMD Specialist - AMOSTYLE

 

Role Purpose:

Develop, Drive and execute the best in class consumer experience across product service, navigation which in turns delivers commercial success for UPT, VPT, Conversion, Footfall and other financial criteria as agreed in common alignment with the commercial teams.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Implement the in-store materials (ex: POP) look & feel execution in order to deliver Brand strategies
  • Improve brand perception and consumer shopping experience across all key touch points in store
  • Partner with the sales team to create in-store materials & promotion strategies for key accounts based upon actual assortment plans
  • Establish a collaborative leadership style which applies the corporate values of trust, integrity and honesty to influence target result driven ways of working within total marketing team
  • Although it is necessary to express the store as a place that embodies the brand, as a VMD specialist, it is necessary to always be aware of sales at the store, provide consumers with the industry's highest level purchasing/shopping environment, and contribute to sales.
  • Create regular VMD guidelines/zoning and provide them to the Sales team and stores in a timely manner.
  • Planning and management of special splash and splash for all stores.
  • Planning and operation of another space during the peak demand period.
  • Zoning and VMD plan planning and management at the time of new store opening and renewal opening.
  • Participation in projects related to store construction and store design.
  • Support Senior Manager depending on the situation and participate in projects related to 's business growth.
  • Budget management and operation related VMD. And a timely budget progress report to the superior.

The VMD Specialist will be measured on his/her ability to:

  • In-store Footfall
  • In-store passerby
  • Market Share
  • Growth sales / Profitability
  • VOC

   

Your ideal profile:

  • 3-5 years + experience in VMD in Japan market
  • Extensive consumer and competitor understanding
  • Cross Functional working experience
  • Experience to develop the VMD plan
  • Extensive marketing know-how, covering RETAIL channel
  • Experience to manage several vendors
  • Experience in female / beauty / apparel business is a bonus
  • Ability to inspire via strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and commercial minds
  • Proven ability to support complex and multi-functional teams
  • High drive + result orientated
  • Leadership
  • Good communicator and positive thinker
  • Good Team worker
  • Educated to degree level +
  • Native or Fluent (JLPT N1) level Japanese, basic to intermediate level English
