Our Merchandising and Buying Department in Malaysia - location is looking for an Assistant Buyer.

Purpose Of The Job 
Assistant Buyer supports Merchandising & Buying Manager on Master Data creation & maintenance, business reports/data analytics preparation and day-to day operation works covers promotion input and maintenance in ePos system, product samples in/out handling, customer damaged returns arrangement. This role work closely with commercial and marketing team, supporting data sharing & GTM tools to achieve STR, sales and targeted profitability.

Your Responsibilities:

(1) Product Master Creation & Maintenance

  • Lead in Material Master Data Creation in SAP system.
  • Routine update of Price, PLC and Launch Date info in SAP system.
  • Share material master data source with cross function team to align single data source usage.

(2) Daily Operation & GTM Support

  • Lead promotion package preparation (Hard Copy Listing & ePos system updates) and on-time & accurate GTM  package deployment to sales team for smooth sales scanning process.
  • Support marketing samples In/Out record maintenance & merchandising plan updates.
  • Support in handling consumer’s queries & product related complaints both online & offline.
  • Manage consumer damaged returns and complaint log book update.

(3) Administration & Reports

  • Ensure on-time submission of all reports to Local & Regional Office and share with internal department .

(4) Administration & Reports

  • Any other ad-hoc reports, initiatives and projects assigned.

             

Your ideal profile:

With working experience:

  • Competent to operate basic Microsoft Office software (e.g., MS Excel).
  • Systematic and analytical thinker personality. 
  • SAP system handling knowledge is added advantage
  • Business analytic capability
