Our Tokyo office is looking for an experienced candidate to join us as

Japan Store Construction Specialist / Assistant Manager 

Purpose of the Job

To ensure “best stores”, manage and execute the store construction and furniture & fixture production for store opening, renovating, relocating, maintaining, or closing in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

To manage the cost by effective way to contribute to profit.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Operations:

    • Store construction process management and execution of all channels
    • Quality control and cost management (CAPEX)
    • Negotiation with interior construction companies, department stores, or developers to proceed store constructions within the budget and the schedule.
    • Collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, VMD, and Sales to execute construction projects by following Global brand guideline.
    • Window display support for individual stores in collaboration with VMD
    • Store maintenance management and execution
    • Restoration work management and execution

    Influencing and building a sustainable organization:

    • Contributing cost reduction and efficient investment
    • Proactively proposing store layouts which contributes sales and usability.

     

    Leadership:

    • To facilitate construction-related projects smoothly and lead          

Your ideal profile:

  • Over 5 years’ experience in interior construction management including negotiation with Internal/External stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of technical drawings
  • English is preferred.
