Visual Merchandiser / Retail Marketing Specialist
Role Summary
The Visual Merchandising & Retail Marketing Specialist assists in generating sales through creative retail displays and oversees franchise store operations with the goal of localizing the brand vision to create a best in class shopping experience. They will have a clear commercial vision connecting consumer behavior, product displays, and key marketing and sales initiatives and be confident to make a difference.
This ‘hands-on’ role, reports to the Marketing Manager and will work closely with the Marketing Team, Assortment Team, and external counterparts to ensure smooth business operations and help the business grow.
Your Responsibilities:
A. Visual Merchandising/Marketing
1. Oversees execution of the regional and local launch calendar to ensure timely implementation and alignment
2. Creates a monthly/seasonal VM plan and supervises store teams on arranging displays to ensure compliance
3. Work closely with the Marketing Team to deliver relevant point of sale materials and ensure execution of campaign guidelines
4. Plan and execute initiatives to build up the brand and its products and collects feedback on campaign executed
5. Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities
B. Merchandising
1. Work closely with Assortment Team and Franchise Partner/Store Teams on the merchandise mix and review merchandise performance
C. Sales
1. Works with Franchise Partner Team to develop initiatives to drive sales, footfall, and engage consumers and store staff
2. Measuring and evaluating initiatives executed and reporting wins/learnings to the wider team
Your ideal profile:
- 1-2 years of working experience in design, visual merchandising
- Background in retail operations is preferred
- Fluent in English and Tagalog
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiar with Microsoft 365
- Fashion oriented and keeps up with trends and best practices
