Our Finance Department in 30-32 North Road, Wynnum West (Brisbane)  is looking for a Finance Analyst


Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets for the Australia and New Zealand markets.
  • Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Conduct financial audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial procedures and controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective financial management and reporting.
  • Support in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
  • Manage cash flow, including monitoring receivables, payables, and banking transactions.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Provide coverage for other team members when needed.          

Your ideal profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations applicable to Australia and New Zealand.
  • Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA is highly desirable.
  • Prior exposure to an SAP environment would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and spreadsheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
