Our Finance Department in Chennai is looking for a

Plant Finance Controller

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintains all master data in SAP relating to FICO
  • Prepare Product Costing for all new styles & SMS styles
  • Maintain transfer price for all export styles and SMS in alignment with global TP team
  • Prepare & maintain DTA price for local sales
  • MI workings for local & Import sales
  • Run monthly standard cost for all styles
  • Do all group reporting and Internal reporting related to all PC controlling areas like PCS, Standard cost deck, Stock reporting, Freight cost reporting, Yearly True up/loss workings etc.,
  • Monthly COGS Analysis.
  • Detailed analysis for Basic customs Duty (BCD) workings for local sales
  • Closely working with RTR & FPNA team for monthly closing activities
  • Support and working with yearly statutory audit
  • TP - Analysis (Quarter wise Transfer price analysis with Global TP team and ensure the Profitability forecast)
  • MI working for local and Import styles (Includes SPC,FOB and VPC)
  • Timely closing of all  monthly closing activity in SAP by running all cycles without error
  • Yearend SAP closing activity and transfer of balance to next year
  • Maintains regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions.
  • Assists production team to Close Production Order every month.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required.
  • Key player in Budget Preparation and reporting of monthly budget vs. actual to all departments
  • Monthly & Quarter wise forecast for production unit as well as BW upload format
  • Total Manufacturing cost (TMC) monitoring closely with cost center & element wise
  • Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Completes special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.
  • Be part of Budget preparation team
  • part of payables and MIS team
  • Be part of Cost saving team
  • Ensure 100% compliance in their area
  • Take additional responsibilities when assigned.

 

Your ideal profile:

 

  • Should be from south Chennai or in and around 15kms from factory.
  • 2+ years of experience in SAP FICO
  • Good in Excel
  • Costing knowledge
  • MIS knowledge
