Our Supply Chain in Chennai is looking for a
Team Lead - Purchase
Your Responsibilities:
- To convert all the Purchase Requests into Purchase Orders as per SOP
- To maintain and update the safety stock as per capacity planning in the SAP system.
- Follow up with the supplier for Color submission, Documentation & Delivery
- Follow up with EXIM & forwarder for on time shipment consolidation & Delivery.
- Responsible for on time delivery of Raw material to achieve RM OTIF
- Daily Status update on Open / Closed & Pending PO for all the Vendors.
- Handling & co coordinating claims with supplier/ MQA.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Purchase Manager from time to time.
- Generating and maintaining the following reports
Root cause for RM OTIF Report
COE SAP Report
PCS Report
CDD Report
DOH Report
Global Reports
Finance Purchase Value Forecast & In transit Invoice report
- Perform other duties assigned from time to time.
Your ideal profile:
- Outstanding Communication skills both verbal & written.
- Should have good interpersonal Skills.
- Adapt easily to diverse audiences and environments.
- Resilience in the face of adversity and stress
- 8 years of experience in manufacturing in garments like intimate apparel or shoe industry with 6-7 years leadership experience in procurement alone
- Degree in Engineering or Master of business
- preferably male, 30 to 35 In-between
- background in SAP is an advantage.
- can speak English / Tamil/ Hindi.
