COMMERCIAL FINANCE SENIOR MANAGER
Purpose of The Job
Contribute to the Business Unit's profitability and productivity improvement by supporting the decision-making of the leaders and the teams through providing analytical and fact-based information and recommendations
General Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and improvement of commercial finance planning and analysis by delivering key insights on trends and data to support business planning and decision support.
1.Finance business partner for each function
• Ensure consistent and accurate data usage/presentation within the local organization
• Continuously improve commercial planning processes
• Lead and facilitate weekly/monthly meetings
• Propose financial target of MTP/BUD/Fcst
• Support building and evaluating strategies and actions to partners
2. Analyze and provide accurate information for decision making
• Identify timely risk and opportunities across channels to lead actions
• Develop reporting that aligns with corporate strategy in a standardized format across all functions
• Cross-examine different data and/or apply statistical methodologies to draw conclusions and provide meaningful commentary and/or recommendations to the leadership team
3. Responsible for global financial communication
• Lead global financial cadence of MTP/BUD/Fcst together with FP&A
• Responsible for being the contact point for the global projects including but not limited to the budget processes
4. Data management
• Partnering with IT to design, implement, and improve the data availability and accuracy
• Take ownership of SAP SD and sales-related systems (SIS, POS, etc.)
• Develop and ensure reliable handling of master maintenance processes
Your ideal profile:
- 5 years of solid experience related to accounting, finance planning in reasonable size of an entity
- Team management experience and proven record of building a high-performance team
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and strong stakeholder management
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- CPA preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Language skill:
➢Fluent Japanese and operational level of business English, spoken and written
- IT proficiency:
➢Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot, PowerPivot, DAX, etc.) Database knowledge
- Demonstrated understanding of the design and development of reporting tools and dashboards.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets
