DISTRIBUTION CONTROL MANAGER JAPAN (Japanese Speaking)
Purpose of the Job ポジションの存在理由
This position is to drive the logistics operations with highly optimized way aligned by the strategy, and educating own staffs based on his/her experience-based strong advice.
General Duties & Responsibilities 職務内容
Management in Logistics operation
- Day-to-day controling
- Proactively look for the potential-risks and prevent before they happen, or make and execute quick & appropreate recovery if they happen
(Incoming delays, System issue, Sharp demand changing, other urgent orders from inside/outside of the team.)
Agile actions aligned with the Business
- Being sensitive in the latest business trends and sales conditions
- Making neccessary adjustments in own logistics plans/strategies based on above factors with agilities.
Labor control based on the volumes
- Being sensitive in the latest business trends and sales conditions
- Making neccessary adjustments in labor plans based on above factors & seasonal fluctuations
BGT creation/ controlling/ correction/ forecasting
- Understanding of the expenses to create BGT, and control & forecasts based on the latest business trends and sales conditions
Monitoring & optimizing the productivity
- Monitoring & improving the productivity in each area
- Pursuing better ways to realise higher performances, with being open for new ways, without being stereotype.
Personal management & development
- Keeping good & efficient communications centered with 5 white-collar staffs, 5 leaders of blue-collars.
- Giving them not only operational directions, but also necessary advises and educations with their careers and developments considered.
- Understanding strengths and weaknesses of each staff, and give them necessary advises and educations with their careers and developments considered.
- Understanding of career preferences and plans of each staff, and making appropriate supporting actions together with the staff themselves.
Negotiations
- Mainly with Transportation service providers and packing makers with the latest market trends considered.
- Making appropriate negotiations with vendors for unavoidable cost-increases.
Cooperation across the functions and countries
- Strong alignments with Global DNO community, and execute logistics operations under the same strategy
Attitude to capture futures
- Having the problems in in comprehensive and panoramic views, and execute the recoveries in bigger pictures.
- Open for new ways, looking for them proactively & execute unconventional ideas
