Are you a master of balancing supply and demand? Ready to take ownership of the entire inventory strategy for a leading global brand in Australia & New Zealand?

 

Triumph is on the lookout for a strategic and hands-on Senior Inventory & Demand Planner to join our commercial team in our Brisbane Head Office. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of products from suppliers to customers, optimizing inventory levels, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to lead our critical S&OP process but also mentor and develop a direct report, shaping the future of our planning function.

 

Senior Inventory & Demand Planner

 

What you will do to make an Impact:

  • Own the Master Demand Plan: You'll be the architect of our demand forecast across all AU/NZ channels (Direct-to-Consumer & Wholesale), ensuring we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time.
  • Lead the S&OP Process: This is your meeting. You will chair the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) forum, driving crucial cross-functional alignment between sales, product, marketing, and finance.
  • Drive Financial Success: Master the Open-to-Buy (OTB) process from end-to-end, ensuring we invest our capital in the right products to maximize profitability and cash flow.
  • Optimize Every Unit: Design and execute the allocation and replenishment strategy to boost our sales performance, optimize stock turn, and delight our customers.
  • Leverage Best-in-Class Tools: You'll be working hands-on within SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to bring your plans to life.

 

How is success measured in this role?

  • Ability to maintain the delicate balance between meeting customer needs and minimizing costs and waste.
  • Preventing stock outs and overstocking
  • Ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

 

Your ideal Profile:

  • 3-5 years in retail, particularly in lingerie, undergarments, or apparel, with experience managing large SKUs or multi-SKU within one style.
  • 5+ years of deep experience in demand planning, inventory management, or merchandise planning, ideally within a fast-paced Retail or FMCG environment.
  • An expert in the S&OP process and have proven experience leading these critical meetings.
  • A natural leader and mentor, ready to guide and develop a team member (1 direct report), fostering a culture of excellence and accuracy.
  • Significant hands-on experience with advanced planning software, e,g, SAP IBP. (Experience with other advanced systems is also highly regarded).
  • You are highly analytical, a master of Excel, and can translate complex data into a clear, actionable story for senior leaders.
  • Priority will be given to Australian residents who do not need current or future sponsorship.
