Our Digital Commerce Sales Department in Tokyo, Japan is looking for a

Digital Commerce Business Planner (Japanese Speaking)

 

Purpose of the Job

This position is responsible for the management of E-commerce site (online retail store) in order to achieve our sales budget. This position is required for Sales promotion planning of EC site, Management the web page based on consumer centric idea, Operation of the e-mail magazine, Merchandising management, Inventory management, etc.

In addition, supervisor is required supporting section manager to achieve section target

  • Share information to line manager in a timely manner, make proposals based on experiences and ideas, and make decisions and execute actions speedily. In cases, support colleagues.
  • Collaborate with Internal and External stake holder based on Expertise

 

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales planning.

Making sales plan and conduct PDCA cycle to achieve the sales budget

  • Inventory control

Checking stock efficiency and monitoring stock

  • Promotion planning.

Make promotion plans such as an Web advertising for digital marketing, e-mail magazine.

  • Management of Internet advertising vendor
  • Direction of a Web page
  • Management of the Web page creative process of the EC
  • Direction of e-mail magazine.

Creates the e-mail magazine and manage scheduling and delivery

  • Web KPI analysis.

Analyze and review web data of site performance and campaign results

  • Consumer care.

Handle the inquiry from the CS team and collaborate to solve a problem

  • Systems operation.

Collaborate with IT to trouble shoot the system issue

Your Responsibilities:

    • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in e-commerce marketplace operations (e.g., Rakuten, Yahoo Shopping)
  • Proven B2C experience in the consumer goods or retail industry, specifically in the internet space
  • Hands-on experience in web promotions, e-commerce administration, and managing digital advertising vendors
  • Strong track record in sales planning, sales promotion, and customer engagement, especially within Rakuten or similar platforms
  • Experience managing PDCA cycles aligned with marketing calendars
  • Full ownership of Rakuten Store operations and achievement of sales/volume targets
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate with external vendors
  • Native or fluent Japanese is essential; business-level English is a plus
  • Familiarity with web tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) and basic IT knowledge preferred

  • Responsible for 3rd-party e-commerce sales across Triumph, Sloggi, and AMOStyle brands in Japan
