Our Finance Department for our office in Segrate (MI) is looking for a

 

Intern – Business Analyst – Wholesale South (6 months) (f/m/d) (100%)

 

The Business Analyst intern for Wholesale South will support the SOUTH Wholesale sales channel to achieve growth and profitability targets through reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Ensure data transparency and deliver high-quality reports and ad hoc analyses. Monitor commercial performance (sales, margins, opex, capex) and ensure alignment with Wholesale P&L across TRIUMPH & sloggi in Southern Europe.

This position is hybrid, with 2 mandatory days at our office in Segrate.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Development & implementation of tools (financial reports, market dynamics, competitor analysis etc.) for management team and sales/ Wholesale organization
  • Act as a commercial finance business partner to Wholesale Controller & Head of Wholesale for Triumph & Sloggi in the management of sales & margin targets
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the market, its dynamics, opportunities and translate this to sales opportunities for the business
  • Provide continuous commercial insights during the year, leveraging both an understanding of commercial performance and business acumen, including knowledge of the commercial strategy and short-term priorities
  • Monitor and analyze in-depth sales performance in light of sales goals, identify areas of weaknesses’ and provide recommendations to improve Sales
  • Monitor key account profitability and provide recommendations for improving the results
  • Monitor in season Wholesale sales and margin performance
  • Manage account forecasts and scenario plans with sales associates
  • Prepare Monthly and quarterly Wholesale updates
  • Coordinate ad-hoc projects that contribute to the growth of the business
  • Contribute to the building of the annual plan and strategic plan from a sales POV
  • Monitor sales data in order to ensure accurate and up to date reporting planning, developing, controlling, and forecasting of channel related costs

Your ideal profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Fluent in English
  • Skilled in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Excel at advanced level
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or BI tools is a plus
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and IT proficiency
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; proactive, self-motivated, logical, and objective
  • Ability to understand customers’ needs within the organization
