Our Sustainability Department in Kow Loon, Hong Kong, is looking for a strong professional in supplier compliance management to join our department as a:

SUSTAINABILITY & COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Purpose of the Role
•    The Compliance Specialist – Sustainability supports the management and implementation of social and environmental compliance across Triumph’s own production centers and external supply chain.
•    This role is responsible for monitoring vendor compliance performance, ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, international standards, and internal policies (including Triumph’s Code of Conduct and ZDHC commitments). The position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement in sustainability performance through audit follow-ups, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Responsibilities:

Vendor Compliance Management

  • Support vendor onboarding, qualification, and ongoing monitoring in alignment with Triumph’s Code of Conduct and industry standards.
  • Review and validate vendor compliance in areas including: social and labor standards, chemical management (MRSL, RSL, ZDHC requirements), product safety and regulatory compliance
  • Assess and verify the validity of third-party audits and certifications such as amfori BSCI, OEKO-TEX®, GRS, GOTS, and others.

Audit Follow-up and Continuous Improvement

  • Track, review, and follow up on corrective action plans (CAPs) for identified non-compliances.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendors to ensure timely closure of audit findings.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on compliance priorities and achieve sustainability goals.
  • Provide guidance and insights to internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters.

System and Documentation Management

  • Maintain and update compliance-related documentation, including product quality manuals and SOPs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain records of certifications and audit documentation for both vendors and own production centers.

Chemical Management & ZDHC

  • Support the maintenance and administration of the ZDHC Gateway, including data uploads and verification.
  • Analyze ZDHC data (e.g., chemical usage, wastewater test reports) and derive insights for performance improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, including industry initiatives and organizations such as amfori and ZDHC, as well as consultants, suppliers, and public agencies.
  • Support external reporting requirements and industry engagement activities.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze compliance data from vendors and internal production sites.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on vendor compliance performance and sustainability KPIs.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement based on data insights.

Projects and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to sustainability and compliance-related projects and initiatives.

Support ad hoc assignments as required by the Sustainability team.             

Your ideal profile:

  • More than 2 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, sustainability, or textile/apparel manufacturing or related fields.

  • Fresh graduates with a Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar technical background are welcome to apply.

  • Basic knowledge of social and environmental compliance, including labor standards, product safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Knowledge of chemical compliance management (MRSL/RSL, ZDHC) and textile production processes is preferred.

  • Familiarity with audit frameworks (BSCI, SMETA) and certifications (OEKO‑TEX, GRS, GOTS) is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability for data consolidation, trend analysis, and dashboards.

  • Ability to create clear, structured PowerPoint presentations and confidently communicate findings.

  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to track corrective actions, maintain documentation, and manage compliance records.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills for working with vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced supply chain environment.
