Our HR Department for our site in Obernai is looking for a
Head of HR France (f/m/d) (100%)
This position requires office presence for four days per week at our office.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide, and develop the local HR team, providing clear direction, mentoring, and support to maximize their performance and engagement
- Act as the expert on French labor law and case management, providing daily guidance to the HR team and managers on complex employment law matters, compliance, and employee relations
- Oversee end to end HR operations across the commercial, logistics, and warehousing sectors, ensuring a deep understanding of distribution workflows and warehouse dynamics
- Bridge the communication gap between different organizational levels, maintaining a highly influential and trusted relationship with both the General Manager and Commercial Director in France and blue-collar employees on the ground
- Navigate and operate effectively within a global corporate matrix, reporting local progress while collaborating closely with broader European and global HR teams
Your ideal profile:
- Broad generalist HR experience gained across a variety of businesses, markets, cultures
- At least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager
- Solid experience in business partnering, employee relations, labor law
- International HR experience (international HR projects and processes)
- Bachelor’s level in Human Resources or Business Administration
- Professional HR qualification would be an advantage
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and French
- Ability to anticipate, identify, diagnose and resolve employee issues affecting business performance
- Ability to work independently with tight timelines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish relationships with all levels of an organization
