Our Creative Design Team for our Design HUB (Hong Kong) is looking for an experienced Apparel Designer professional with expertise in Nightwear and Athleisure to join our in-house design team as:

 

Designer - Nightwear / Athleisure / Swimwear for Triumph brand - HK based

 

Purpose of the Job

The Designer – Nightwear / Athleisure / Swimwear is responsible for creating innovative, consumer-centric, and commercially relevant collections that align with the Triumph brand vision and Design DNA.

The role combines trend research, market insights, and creative expertise to develop seasonal product concepts, collaborating closely with Technical Design and Product Merchandising teams to deliver high-quality collections that meet business objectives.

Based in Hong Kong, this position plays a key role in driving product innovation, strengthening Triumph's brand value proposition, and supporting the growth of the Nightwear, Athleisure, and Swimwear categories.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Research and interpret emerging trends in colour, fabric, print, silhouette, fit, and detailing to develop innovative and commercially relevant product concepts
  • Translate global trend insights and consumer needs into cohesive seasonal collections aligned with the Triumph Design DNA
  • Contribute to identifying growth opportunities and support the achievement of business objectives and KPI targets
  • Champion Triumph's Brand Value Proposition across all product categories and touchpoints
  • Ensure all creative developments align with the Creative Design strategy and guiding principles of the Business Unit
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Design teams, providing clear design direction and product intent throughout the development process
  • Create compelling product concepts by combining trend intelligence, consumer understanding, and competitive market analysis
  • Conduct regular market and competitor research to identify opportunities, innovations, and emerging consumer preferences
  • Leverage a strong understanding of the women's apparel market to create competitive advantages and scalable design solutions
  • Partner with Product Merchandising teams to build balanced, commercially successful ranges that support the brand vision and business goals
  • Develop seasonal colour stories, print concepts, and design narratives that enhance collection storytelling and consumer engagement

 

Your ideal profile:

  • At least 5 years of experience within the apparel or fashion industry, ideally across women’s wear, athleisure and nightwear. Beachwear and swimwear are ‘nice to have’
  • Bachelor’s degree or design school graduate in design/textile or fashion related area
  • Strong knowledge of outerwear and innerwear fabrics
  • Proven experience working within a design-led brand environment and contributing to the development of brand DNA and design strategy
  • Strong trend forecasting, colour, print, and storytelling capabilities
  • Excellent understanding of the female consumer and competitive market landscape
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced CAD skills, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience with 3D design tools and AI-powered creative platforms is considered an advantage
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to inspire and influence others
  • Highly creative, commercially aware, and passionate about delivering innovative product solutions
